This text, published on June 12, 2024, on social media during the height of leftist fervor spurred by the ongoing legislative elections, resulted in arbitrary censorship, near-total ostracization from the artistic community, and, most notably, the loss of my publishing house’s distributor, who severed professional ties with me the same day, without notice.
It seems this is the price to pay for stating certain truths. It’s possible that the sociological group explicitly targeted in this text—the infamous cultural bourgeoisie—felt sufficiently singled out, hence their reaction.
As it stands, I have nothing to add to this statement, and I remain, to this day, quite proud of it.
